This company, located in the Seattle area, suddenly found itself in local media for an issue that wasn’t theirs. Out of the blue, they were put on the defensive, and were being asked to participate in interviews with media. The issue was challenging and included many different businesses, and government players. Switch Up Consulting was hired to get the business out of the media, and to help them to communicate clear information to customers and employees about the issue.

Second project, Announce purchase of competing business

Seattle’s Finest was approached by a competitor to buy portions of a competing business that was closing. They wanted to make an announcement to certain publics:

  • Local media
  • Employees, current and future
  • Clients, current and future

We prepared a press release and sent it out. We were picked up by the local business journal. We also developed email communications using Constant Contact to announce the purchase to employees and clients.
